What’s eCloudvalley E-SHIELD
eCloudvalley E-SHIELD is a comprehensive service that provides support for AWS Shield Advanced to AWS customers. It delivers secure and dynamically scalable operations for the customer’s security profile and enables faster detection and remediation of security vulnerabilities and attacks on the customer’s AWS services.
eCloudvalley E-SHIELD consists of multiple service components as one bundled solution, including a Security experts, a 24/7 on-call service, a 24/7 on-duty cloud professionals, a real-time issue tracking system “Atlas”, along with a support team consisting of a group of highly skilled, AWS-certified cloud and DevOps / Security engineers [Appendix A]. eCloudvalley E-SHIELD can provide expert operation support on cloud security architecture.
eCloudvalley E-SHIELD is suitable for any customer looking for either further security enhancements on their existing AWS resources and environments, or a net new secure deployment on AWS. Variations and limitations may apply to the service components, depending on the conditions of the customer
Why Need AWS Shield Advanced
AWS Shield is a managed Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) protection service that safeguards applications on AWS. AWS Shield provides always-on detection and automatic inline mitigations that minimize application downtime and latency, so there is no need to engage AWS Support to benefit from DDOS protection.
AWS Shield defends against most common, frequently occurring network and transport layer DDOS attacks that target a website or applications. AWS Shield provides a comprehensive availability protection against all known infrastructure attacks when used in connection with Amazon CloudFront and Amazon Route 53.
In addition to the network and transport layer protections, AWS Shield Advanced provides additional detection and mitigation against large and sophisticated DDOS attacks, near real-time visibility into attacks.
AWS Shield Advanced also provides DDOS Cost Protection, a safeguard mechanism against capacity scaling charges resulting from a DDOS attack that cause usage spikes on protected EC2, ELB, CloudFront, Global Accelerator, or Route 53. Cost protection is done with service credits from AWS. eCloudvalley facilitates the process of DDOS problem solving.
AWS Enterprise Support
As a pre-requisite, the customer is required to always maintain an active AWS Enterprise Support contract on all the AWS accounts, which are protected by the service. AWS Enterprise Support provides you with concierge-like service where the focus is helping you achieve your outcomes and find success in the cloud.With Enterprise Support, you get 24×7 technical support from high-quality engineers, tools and technology to automatically manage health of your environment, consultative architectural guidance delivered in the context of your applications and use-cases
eCloudvalley acts as the first Shield for the customer’s AWS resources guarded by advanced AWS cyber-security technologies and services. This service leverages advanced AWS services as AWS Shield Advanced eCloudvalley E-SHIELD integrates seamlessly with its eCloudvalley is backed by direct escalation channels to the AWS DDOS Response Team (DRT).

E-SHIELD Service TEAM
24/7 Team is house in the eCloudvalley Headquarters and provides a rapid, on-call real-time response to incidents and events. The team is the single point of contact for customers’ cloud related issues and is responsible for incident management. The 24/7 has the support from the entire eCloudvalley technical force if additional resources, expertise, or experience in different knowledge field is necessary to handle the incident.
DevOps Team consists of experienced and AWS-certified system administrators and cloud specialists operating primarily during business hours. The DevOps Team’s primary responsibility is to support customers in request fulfillment and change management. When the customer is short on development resources, DevOps Team can be used to extend the customer’s own development capabilities.
Security Team is run by experienced security specialists that are AWS-certified. The Security Team ensures that the customer’s cloud computing platforms are used according to the best practice and prevents security issues caused by misconfigurations.
Network Team consists of experienced network specialists and solutions architects that are AWS-certified. The Network Team manages and configures complex cloud computing platform networks and the connections between the customer’s own on-premises infrastructure and AWS services.
Atlas is the ticketing and issue tracking system developed by eCloudvalley, serving as a communication channel with the customers and eCloudvalley support team. Customers can reach Customers can also access billing information through Atlas.
